Handcrafted using heritage starters by Quickes’ expert cheesemakers, clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 9 to 12 months. Cold smoked using oak chips from trees grown on Quickes’ estate for a subtle smoky, buttery flavour.
Quickes have been making award-winning, handmade, traditional cloth-bound cheddar on their farm in Newton St Cyres just outside Exeter for generations. They produce a range of varying sizes from 25kg truckles to 200gm pre packs. V
